IMO:
Meet the Robinsons was a great movie about how "bad guys" come to be.
The Spiderwick Chronicles had a great message about how sometimes people are just jerks - even if we love them.
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium deals with death and mourning in good ways.
The Barnyard was the dumbest movie I've seen in a decade. As far as I can tell, the only message was 'partying is important, and if important stuff gets in the way, take care of it so you can go back to partying'.

If I were rich, I'd have the time that I lack, to sit in the synagogue and pray.
And maybe have a seat by the Eastern wall.
And I'd discuss the holy books with the learned men, several hours every day.
That would be the sweetest thing of all.
