Anime - Encyclopedia - Anime News Network has been a lifesaver. It not only describes content but also age rates them. Even so, there have been a few that have slipped through the reviews. I am constantly telling my daughter about turning off the show when she runs across stuff that's not appropriate and every 10 minutes or so I ask her what's going on and if it's a good show. I figure if I get her in the habit when she's 9 when she's older turning off such stuff will be an automatic reflex.
