He is a type one diabetic that he does not control. He has been doing pot and drinking heavily for quite some time. We had no idea. He is so lost right now. Please pray for him that H/F will soften his heart and help him through this very painful situation he has got himself into. Also pray that the prosecuting attorney will listen to his Mom and Me and remand him to a facility that will get him help for the drugs and alcohol and his diabetes. Not prison or jail. He will die in there. Thank you to all.
My dear sister, it is a heartbroken moment in our lives when our own children do not follow the path of the Master. I would ask you to not give up hope or faith in allowing GOD hands be manifested in your sons life. He may need this small experience to seek repentance. He may need this time to reflect his accountability before the Master. I do see a mothers love is the greatest key for your son eternal wellbeing. Now, I will state, as Nephi spoke to his sons in following the right path of mortality -
5: 10 And remember also the words which Amulek spake unto Zeezrom, ain the city of Ammonihah; for he said unto him that the Lord surely should come to redeem his people, but that he should not come to redeem them in their sins, but to redeem them from their sins.
Look at the bold statement closely. The Savior cannot redeem a person while their is no repentance but only redeem them from their sins when they begin the repentance process. You need to remind him of this simple principle. Now, I want you to personally seek the Godhead support in this matter for your son and yourself. This maybe a turning point in his life and perhaps add some greater testimony for your salvation. May the Savior grant you your desire and may the blessing of the Spirit may the impression upon your son to seek repentance. May the desire of your heart be granted by our Master when he begins the repentance process, the Spirit may soften the heart of those who stand in the court of the land. May GOD grant you comfort and support you during this crisis in your life.
