Gods laws apply to his people. Christians are his people. You want less sin in the world- convert it. Im sure god would prefer more christians over no new additions to christianity, even if certain types of sin became unheard of.
That would be wonderful....

But when the laws which rule our every day lives are corrupt, the likelihood of a Christian membership having a lot of success in converting the world is minimal at best.

I think it would be like Mosiah 11:2 where the wickedness of the leadership rubbed off on the people.

IOWs...most people are just too weak to fight the goliath.

One thing that would be necessary for a people to become like the city of Enoch, would be the total environment of a moral society....they say it takes a community to raise a child....this is true...

If you are totally Christian in your home, but you must send your child to public school...where they learn all sorts of corruptions while still very vulnerable....then who winns the battle for that child's soul?

When a child is taught that perversion is right by the schools and society at large...while he is very impressionable...how can a Christian family compete with that except to establish the fact that the world is corrupt and it needs changed from the top down?
