Suspicions A Family Member Is Gay

One of my wifes old friends (who is openly gay) says that all homosexuals have "Gaydar".

I am hetero and I have pretty good "gaydar" too. I spotted two of my wife's friends years before they came out of the closet. We always had a rule with them. They were entirely welcome to be around our kids but they were not to bring their open gayness into our home. If they bring friends over there won't be open displays of affection allowed between them, my kids don't need to be exposed to that at their ages.

My wife tells me there is a good article in this month's Ensign magazine about gay people and the church, I suggest you check it out.

You seem to think you are not a snoop because you happened to stumble upon this information, let me remind you that you are the one who chose to go look this information up on your home computer. Now if youa are trying to protect your children why bring that info up on your home computer? And again with everybody else he is the same person has his behavior changed since you came upon any of your info or is he behaving the same?

I think maybe you need to consider being a bit less LDS and a bit more Christian in your outlook.

I did hear of a missionary who was molesting. But he was molesting girls, not boys.

And that, IMO, is equally bad.

Very few on here have actually answered my original question which was what should I do about it if anything? My first thought was to mention it to my wife; that way it's not my problem anymore, and it's out of my hands.

Instead of having the question answered I've gotten all kinds of lame responses about how I'm a snoop (for helping him with his computer?), not very christian (your opinion of me wasn't what I was asking for), rhetoric on homosexuality (I have my opinions and don't want yours on it).

To bad, if you don't want the opinions of others on thoughts I recommend you stop airing them on message boards, maybe even go live in a cave and isolate yourself from all human contact, would probably be best for your son before you can warp his mind with such idiocy.

Call Evergreen International at 1-800-391-1000 and ask them to come and kidnap him, take him to BYU and use aversion shock therapy on his you know what so that you can feel better knowing that you have done something about what you perceive to be a sexual deviance.

I think you have gotten answers they just are not the ones you wanted. From the begining you have told us what you want to do and just put it here wanting us to tell you it's okay for you to turn your bro in laws family against him by not only telling everyone he is gay but also a pedophile because he is gay and he needs to be locked up and kept away from everyone. It is time you opened up your mind to answers because right now I see you as just waiting for someone to give you the answer you want to hear.
