Why not a discussion on boxers or briefs or the health benefits of lack thereof of going Commando. The best place to discuss what temple garment is best for you is where you buy them.

To borrow a phrase from Jason(and then paraphrase it a wee bit) : Ben, don't get your knickers in a knot!

There is no reason why fabrics can not be discussed.

When I lived on the central Oregon Coast, I prefered DriSilk. It isn't binding, or heavy. Clothes slip right on. I also had some of the cotton blend, for the winter time when the nights got down past the 30's.

I live in Arizona now, and I still prefer the DriSilk, my husband prefers the cotton blend. He is pretty much a native to Arizona and gets chilled when the temp reaches the mid 70's. The cotton blend keeps him from dehydrating, and once it is damp, any breeze cools him down.

Go to lds.org, Order Church materials, enter your membership numbers (you will have to register, and if you don't have your membership number[get from the Ward Clerk] and Temple Recommend number you can't access this information), and check out what they say about the fabrics.

Then have your wife ask her Visiting Teachers, you ask your Home Teachers how they feel about the different fabrics. When you go to purchase them, they have samples so you can feel them.

You can also do what I did, I bought one of each fabric.
