Default Church Quote Needed... "Hey, man"

Yes, searching for a quote. I know it exists in an old Sunday school manual somewhere. I've already tried all the church sites. So any help you can give is appreciated.

This is a church story about how the Holy Spirit, when necessary, will communicate so the receiver will understand. Specifically, I remember the story was about a hippie guy and I think he was about to get in a car accident or something, and the Spirit spoke to him (vocally), "hey, man- you need to slow down." It was something like that. But I definitely remember the part where it said, "hey, man."

Has anyone else read or heard this story or am I going crazy?

I'm with Pam on this one.

This reminds me though of when I was 17 and driving a VW bug to basketball practice. It had just rained, and I was coming to a turn and felt a strong impression to slow down. I slowed down, but not enough. When I turned the car, the car went into a full spin, completely turning a 180. We came to a direct stop, well, the car actually almost went on its side after hitting a curb.

Although I did not slow down enough, the impression potentially saved my life or my younger brothers life who was in the car with me. If I had continued at the speed I was going, and the car spun out like it did, when we hit the curb we would have gone end over, or side over, and then went down a hill about 30 feet. It wouldn't have been pretty.

I believe it was actually, "Hey, dude."

Ahhh, well. Thanks everybody. I guess it was just a shot in the dark anyways. I believe it's some obscure story in a very old Sunday School manual (like 80's probably). Eowyn, you're just kidding, right? Anyhow, if I ever find it- no matter how far into the future- I will return and post it here with the reference.
