Hi

I am glad to meet all of you. I have been married for 15 years and have 3 beautiful children. Our family recently decided to make a big move and live closer to family. We prayed about it and did this for sometime. Well things are great except for the fact that my hubby has not found a job yet. When we moved we decided he would look for work and come live with us asap. Well we have found out that some things need to be taken care of first and then he can start searching. He comes home every other week and stays for about five days. Then returns for his work week. It is hard but we know that we are to be here. Sometimes what should be does not come when we want. I guess I was hoping others have been through this and have survived.

Anyone experience this?

Thanks

Hello and Welcome to LDS Talk.

I have not had the same experience but we have struggled from time to time as hubby started a new job. Have patience and keep encouraging him. One thought that came to mind was to check with your employment specialist.

Good Luck.

Thank you for the Welcome! The feeling of peace and comfort helps make days easier. We are blessed to have a good job, and know all will happen in time.

Thanks again

i told our ward employment specialist my employer is always hiring...we get $500 for referrals. problem is, his daughter works there now( i referred her). i told him the "right" thing to do is to make sure our names are alternated on referrals.

Hang in there and try to remain positive...keep praying and everything will work out.

Even more right to make every third check out to "Moksha c/o South Pole".

When I decided to move to Utah I left my family in California for 12 weeks while I got a job a car and an apartment. I thought it was the roughest time in my life and so did my family.

Then I joined the army a few years later. I just returned from my second year long deployment. Now those 12 weeks seem like childs play.
