Has anyone out there read the seventh seal series by the Drapers? I found it exciting, scary and a fab read. When I tried to recommend it to a friend he told me he would not read it as he thought that it was unneccessary scaremongering.

WHAT DO YOU THINK? Harsh or insightful ?

I've never read any Mormon fiction but here's this:

Neither harsh or insightful. Sorry. It was a good read though.

I did enjoy: The Great and Terrible (vol. 1) and When Angels Fall (Vol 2) by Chris Stewart.

and Added Upon by Nephi Anderson.

I think sometimes people are scared of the Second Coming because they aren't prepared. Thus, they have negative feelings about it and probably would prefer not to indulge in something that will get them even more stressed and worried.

I love the idea of the second coming and the rapture.

It is a period of celebration and joy. We will finally be with God once more.
Let's just hope that we have all those that we know (and that we don't know) saved.

Yes the devestation of the Earth is a scary thought but it is the closing of a very long chapter.
