I've spent the afternoon searching and recording the links for articles where a family member is mentioned. Some go back to late 1800s.

Cool I'll have to check that out.

You can also go to the Library of Congress's website, they have a lot of old newspapers you can search though and it's free. The website is LOC.gov Just click on the "historic newspapers" link. There's some states that are not included like Michigan.
