I read it as soon as you posted, but it doesn't concern me as much as the admonishments of our prophets as Hemidakota said. Emails like this come and go but the warnings from the scriptures and the prophets are what I focus on. Best wishes.

Chicken Little
By Merri Beth Stephens

One day Chicken Little was walking in the woods
when -- KERPLUNK -- an acorn fell on her head
"Oh my goodness!" said Chicken Little. "The sky is
falling! I must go and tell the king."

On her way to the king's palace, Chicken Little met
Henny Penny. Henny Penny said that she was going
into the woods to hunt for worms.

"Oh no, don't go!" said Chicken Little. "I was there
and the sky fell on my head! Come with me to tell the
king."

So Henny Penny joined Chicken Little and they went
along and went along as fast as they could.
Soon they met Cocky Locky, who said, "I'm going to
the woods to hunt for seeds."

"Oh no, don't go!" said Henny Penny. "The sky is
falling there! Come with us to tell the king."
So Cocky Locky joined Henny Penny and Chicken
Little, and they went along and went along as fast as
they could.

Soon they met Turkey Lurkey, who was planning to
go to the woods to look for berries.

"Oh no, don't go!" said Cocky Locky. "The sky is
falling there! Come with us to tell the king " So
Turkey Lurkey joined Cocky Locky, Henny Penny
and Chicken Little, and they went along as fast as
they could.

Then who should appear on the path but sly old Foxy
Woxy.

"Where are you going, my fine feathered friends?"
asked Foxy Woxy. He spoke in a polite manner, so as
not to frighten them.

"The sky is falling!" cried Chicken Little. "We must
tell the king."

"I know a shortcut to the palace," said Foxy Woxy
sweetly. "Come and follow me."

But wicked Foxy Woxy did not lead the others to
the palace. He led them right up to the entrance of
his foxhole. Once they were inside, Foxy Woxy
was planning to gobble them up!

Just as Chicken Little and the others were about to go
into the fox's hole, they heard a strange sound and
stopped.

It was the king's hunting dogs, growling and
howling.

How Foxy Woxy ran, across the meadows and
through the forests, with the hounds close behind.
He ran until he was far, far away and never dared
to come back again.

After that day, Chicken Little always carried an
umbrella with her when she walked in the woods. The
umbrella was a present from the king. And if --
KERPLUNK -- an acorn fell, Chicken Little didn't
mind a bit. In fact, she didn't notice it at all.

Refuse it at all cost!

P.S. If the prophets are not speaking about this issue then they must be sleeping, in my opinion.

Do you think that President Hinckley didn't know about 911 prior to the what transpired?

I wonder which is more probable - that prophets of God are asleep at the wheel, or that this issue isn't really all as important as people who use large print and all caps seem to believe.

I think I've found an answer I can believe.

Hey Leeanntheone I think your concern is real but your approach is all wrong. Emails like this get spread around the internet all the time. I think posting links to news articles from sites like cnet, cnn, etc... might get more peoples attention. Below I posted some links for those interested. I personally like the one from Cnet. It is a good FAQ on the Real ID. What it is and what it isn't.

Also for those of you that are interested in technology I posted this thread about how insecure the RFID technology (the technology behind the Real Id) really is. It is easy to hack and there is info all over the internet on how to do it. It really does create a risk of increased identity theft. I think that is the part that scares me the most.

Of course there are other things to consider as well. Like the fact that the Federal Government is forcing the states to adopt this plan and forcing the states to pay for it themselves. Then if the states refuse the Federal Government has threaten not to let that states residence board a plane or enter a Federal Building. But... that is probably a topic for another discussion.

I'm not confident in an armed population, too many loonies with easy access. We disarmed the greater part of our population after Port Arthur..... gun murders still happen, but I feel safer with more control over what can have them.
