All-Purpose Election Editorial
I love P.J. O'Rourke, and this just slayed me. It's an all-purpose post-election editorial, offered free to news organizations across the United States.

After all, we cannot, as a nation, know where we’re going unless we know where we’ve been LOL.
BTW what a great writer.

Elf, did you used to read P.J. O'Rourke's stuff when he wrote for the National Lampoon? That was some funny stuff, was it not?

No I did not! I feel deprived now.
He is always clever, informed, and to the point. I suspect he would be considered a liberal, but I've seen him make compelling arguments for conservatives as well. (That was for Pale! )
Whatever his stand, he is always entertaining.
He's been on Bill Maher's show a number of times, and is always a sharp crack of the whip. But I have seen the two go at it once or twice. I think there was even one show where both O'Rourke and Christopher Hitchens were guests.
Now THAT is entertainment!
