Default Gosh, maybe our Prophet wasn't kidding

It seems that the world has been going through a long run of bad luck lately. This mornings news story that hit first as I turned on the T.V. was that-

Florida has lost up to 40% of their Watermelon crop due to WVD (Watermelon Vine Decline) which is brought on by small white flies. Bummer!

California Wild Fires- it has been reported that a lot of California's Avocado and Citrus crops have been destroyed by the wild fires. Not so warm and fuzzy>>

Tomato Salmonella scare- millions of dollars of tomatoes were recalled due to the Salmonella scare over the last two weeks.

531,000 lbs of Beef was recalled due to the threat of E-Coli. What a dilemma!

Mississippi river flooding has left thousands and thousands of acres of our corn crop under water. The seeds were in the ground, and the plants were starting to come up, but the flood took care of that. Ahhhh, there goes my Kelloggs Corn Pops-

June 13th Hail storm in New York destroyed 30%- 40% of the Apples, Peaches, and strawberry crops. Some report the hail to be the size of golf balls. Without all this fiber, what will happen?

Wheat- Wheat fungus stem rust has destroyed wheat crops all through East Africa, Yemen, Iran, Australia, and experts says that it can jump the Seas and visit us in America.

Gosh, maybe our Prophet wasn't kidding when he told us we need to prepare. Just be glad that you are one of the 15% of the Church which actually took preparedness seriously.

Absolutely, if we all remember that we are here for each other and answer the call from the Prophet when it comes. All should be well in Zion and her Stakes.
