Default Falling Dollar such a bad thing?

Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

20 Reasons Why a Falling Dollar Isn’t Necessarily a Bad Thing | Currency Trading.net

Maybe becoming a millionaire might not be so difficult if the dollar falls low enough.

Travel agents need to be more agressive in getting European tourists to take vacations in America. Did you know that with lower prices anyway, coupled with the low dollar, a Swede could postpone buying two pairs of jeans and a nice camera and instead buy a round trip ticket to the USA, buy the stuff over here, and come out even?

The Euro, the Swedish Kronor and the Russian Reble have all gained lots of value in the last year against the dollar. If the US goes crazy and bombs Iran then you can expect the value of the dollar to take a tremendous nosedive.

Good for tourism and exports ; ) (which is why we don't like a high dollar as their both big industries and it kind of stuffs that around)

(imports...great...add to our national debt in order to consume U.S....a kind-of-plus...you wouldn't believe the bargains for savvy online shoppers...also a good time for buying cash for overseas travel and going overseas).

Oh.... and deliberately lowering your dollar is sometimes done when people stockpile your currency on the basis that it will increase in value...er yes, it's been done before ; )
