I just dropped my station down to 2.08. I went back to the beginning of this thread to see where we were at. Looks like we were around 4.07. So in about 3 months time we have dropped about 2.00 a gallon.

I paid 2.33 at Safeway last night. Got 0.10 off per gallon. Which really helps.
The highest price is at the Chevron- it is 2.69. What blows my mind is people actually get gas there, when across the street it is 0.20 a gallon cheaper.

I work at a place that sells Chevron gas. I think the ones that buy Chevron gas are the die hard people who live by it. I grew up with a father that would buy nothing else. The original owner of the station I work at believed we should charge more because we did have Chevron gas. The owners of the station now believe it's all about the competition on the street. I love it that they let us be competitive.
