now we dropped down to 1.43

Average gas prices are below $2 a gallon in all 48 contiguous states. Utah had the cheapest gas, averaging $1.463.

After 2:00 tomorrow afternoon, we will drop again to match the street if that will be the case. I have to do price comparisons then and will go back to match.

It's funny. When this thread started back in August, Utah was still one of the highest priced states for fuel.

we were one of the cheapest until a few weeks ago....I mentioned earlier we went up 10-15 cents....sounds like that is going across the country...however we are now coming down...

you do have to factor in that in the bubble, they sell 85 octane as regular, and what us flatlanders call regular is midgrade

There has been some dissension in the solidarity of the Utah Committee for Continuously High Gas Prices. Don't know how long it will last. Perhaps the majority party of our legislature will pass a measure to ban low prices, if enough incentives from the oil industry are contributed by mid-session.

While out driving around this evening I noticed the gas price dropped to 1.40...
