Greed over the concerns of the global economy. Just four more months to production of few all electrical production vehicle begins to roll off the lines. More dent to the ever growing dwindling use of oil. I was quite impressed with the latest Ford Fusion versus the weeny Toyota Prius.

I have to laugh sometimes at customers who are purchasing gasoline. I hear quite often..."I'm hating these gas prices." Actually I'm okay with them. If you go back to the start of this thread; in August of last year we had prices in the $4 range. So yep..I'm okay with $2.21 at the moment.

In the next coming year or latter, expect it to reach 150 dollar plus per barrel. It has nothing to do with the claimed we are running out of oil....put it down to greed over economy stability. If you have the time to convert over to a smaller vehicle with hybrid technology or the upcoming electrical, do it.

Quote:
Higher oil output in May reduced OPEC's compliance rate with its pledged supply curbs to 74%, compared with 76% in April, the IEA said.
Even so, that still shows OPEC has taken more than 3 million bpd -- almost 4% of world demand -- off the market.
The IEA raised its forecast for supply from countries outside OPEC by 170,000 bpd for 2009 on higher-than-expected growth from new Russian fields, more robust North Sea production and stronger output in Colombia.

There is no rise in the actual usage but what was taken away and a buying spree with cheaper fuel cost versus the same timeframe last year.
