Default Gordon Brown calls for new world order to beat recession

Gordon Brown calls for new world order to beat recession - Telegraph

Quote:
He also wants agreement on a world trade deal and reform of the international financial system based on principles of "transparency, integrity, responsibility, sound banking practice and global governance with co-ordination across borders".(emphasis mine)
Quote:
"My message is that we must be internationalist not protectionist, interventionist not neutral, progressive not reactive and forward-looking not frozen by events. We can seize the moment and in doing so build a truly global society." (emphasis mine)

I do believe for any world leader take to take center stage, he will first need to control global economics beside global communications. If you collapse the US economy, you will start a global crisis.

Yep. Gordon Brown and the World Bank know that financial control is the center of governmental control.

I know what some are suggesting and I seriously doubt that Gordon Brown fits the bill. If someone were to try to set up a new world order he would have to have a lot of international currency, be well respected and able to convince the majority he has their best interests at heart.

But I do believe this isn't a -good- sign.

if he really wanted to form a new world order and change things he'd simply join the Euro because the UK has a population of nearly 70 million it would make the Euro a serious threat to the US Dollar.

I believe we already have such a leader and he's due to take office in a little more than 2 months.
