Anyway I think Bush is far more inspiring than Obama.

Obama may be a great inspiration to every African-American that they can one day hold the most important post in the land. (Only after they show themselves a good scholar, get top marks at Harvard, spend years serving the community, polish an articulate speech delivery......)

Bush gives hope to a far greater number of people, the inarticulate and unknowledgeable that they too can acheive high office after having run an oil company and a baseball team

It isn't Christlike to badmouth our government officials. If they are corrupt, then we should go through the legal channels to stop them.

Name-calling is wrong and childish. We all know better. Do as our church leaders do. They are respectful. They work within the law.

I was very critical of a previous administration, but changed my attitude after a talk in Gen. Conference by Pres. Hinckley who counceled us to speak respectfully of others, even when we disagree.

Again, as has previously been clarified, this is a joke thread.

This isn't funny, but your comment reminded me of the first time I heard Obama speak. He said:

Quote:
. . . . and eradicate the slander that says a black youth with a book is acting white
I think that is so profound.

Speaking of inarticulate, apparently Obama is upsetting people because he uses complete sentences.

Obama's use of complete sentences stirs controversy

From the article:

Quote:
But Mr. Obama's decision to use complete sentences in his public pronouncements carries with it certain risks, since after the last eight years many Americans may find his odd speaking style jarring.

According to presidential historian Davis Logsdon of the University of Minnesota, some Americans might find it "alienating" to have a president who speaks English as if it were his first language.

"Every time Obama opens his mouth, his subjects and verbs are in agreement," says Mr. Logsdon. "If he keeps it up, he is running the risk of sounding like an elitist."
I love it!

Wait a minute! I think that's about the fifth post you've actually blamed Bush for anything!

Who are you and what did you do with Pale?
