Boyando, no one thinks you are a terrorist, but I am sure that you realize the potential for mayhem that could occur when disgruntled people take it to the streets. Whenever such an action does occur, it must be strictly kept as a non-violent protest.

Personally, I like to be revolting with my tongue in cheek.

Yea, those have proven very effective lately. I'm told phone calling and e-mailing are also very effective now days. Good examples would be the recent bail outs and tarp.

I hate to make these romantic appeals to history, but tell that to the revolutionaries of 1776 and various similar occurrences.

I don't know how to rebut your rebuttal, with out attacking you personally. That is not my intent.

I can only say how it looks to me. It looks like you wanted to suggest a inaccurate stereotype of someone who has a different point of view, than yours, and then proceed to lecture me on non-violence.

I wish you well.

Ghandi was able to capture the hearts and imaginations of later generations by how much he accomplished non-violently. The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King had his dreams come true in a slow process, but non-violent process.

Thanks again for the lecture on non violence, the subject that you keep bringing up.

I wonder how many people, who read this thread, have never heard of Ghandi or Dr. King, or have never heard of there accomplishments?

Maybe next thread you can teach us about how President Lincoln freed the slaves.

Could someone please tell me what civil disobedience almost ALWAYS ends in? Also can someone please refresh my memory on how Ghandi and that other dude died?

Reviewing Church History, you could say that there was a time to stand with a musket in your hands, and a time too raise that musket in defense.I don't think we need any thing more than a sign. And to increase our numbers.
