Now my CNN alert says he died, CNN's main page says he's in a coma, and clicking on the full story link says AP is saying he's dead.

It's confirmed. He's dead at 50. Never cared for him and won't miss him at all. I believe he should have been in prison for child molesting.

While I don't agree with what he did, I did admire him for his musical artistry and will miss him.
