There goes her career. Dumbest political move ever. What a shame, I really liked Palin.

Says, rumor is she's stepping down to concentrate on her bid for President in 2012. I don't know about that. I like her and all, but I don't think she has a prayer for becoming the next US President...

I agree with you....I think she could make some noise...and I don't think she is strong enough to be President.....now having said that....I never thought I would see the day that Joe Biden would be a Vice President....

If she's using this as a way to free up time to prepare for a 2012 run, then she really is as dumb as the comedians protray her to be. One of the big things people used against her was "inexperience" in the politics (she doesn't even have a law degree, if I remember correctly). Not even finishing out your FIRST term in a major public office isn't going to quell people's fears about inexperience.
ETA: I do not believe she is doing this to prepare for a 2012 run for POTUS. I think there's more to this story than the media is currently reporting)

Don't be too hard on Newsmax for their partisan political slant. Besides, we can always wait for the full story of the resignation at Area Grandmother Tries Indian Food | The Onion - America's Finest News Source .

A friend of mines suggests that she is moving to Nevada to run against Harry Reid. He is vulnerable. Hillary moved to a new state to represent NY. Why not Sarah Palin to Nevada. She would do well there. Be a state senator for two years and then run for President. I have heard it can be done. Maybe organize some community events.
