Who wants to bet that this person-who-shall-remain-nameless is actually a Republican?

And?

People who voted for Obama and regretted it are signing up, that is the purpose of the website.

The point is that you're trying to use this as a form of schadenfreude. The right have made some pretty ridiculous claims and this is supposed to be a sly knock. "Oh no! Not everyone who voted for Obama is happy!"

Well, not everyone who voted for Bush is happy.

I am still baffled why foreigners are so overzealously worried about American politics.

I'm still baffled why Americans are so overzealously worried about foreign politics.

You know I've read that some Americans actually have opinions on Hugo Chavez and Vladimir Putin despite not being either Venezuelan or Russian?

I agree that it's mystifying that anyone would care about any country outside of their own, or their leaders. That's just crazy. Did you know some Americans wanted to get involved in Iraq because they didn't like Saddam Hussein?

Hugo Chavez is a threat to his neighbors. Putin is a threat to his neighbors. Hussein already murdered 100's of thousands of his own people. There is a difference and if you don't recognize it, you are more lost then I previously thought.

Edit: If we start threatening Mexico, for no good reason other then xenophobia and the desire for land, by all means get involved Canuck.

A good question which I can answer. I am Filipino. Ever since I was a little girl I've always followed American politics as much as my own. I live in Florida now as what they call Resident Alien so I haven't paid close attention to Filipino politics but I'm still very much involved in American politics.

Why?

Because, America is the most powerful country in the world today. It might just be an illusion at this point - my opinion is China is poised to overtake the US once they find more buyers of Made in China products outside of the US - but, nonetheless, American influence is worldwide. Anything that happens in the USA has worldwide repercussions.

I mean the internal affairs of our country. Why are people so concerned about our internal affairs and national laws?
