Default Legal Case Against God Dismissed

Someone brought suit against God in an attempt to create an injunction to get Him to stop the "death, destruction and terrorisation" unleashed upon the world.

However, because God has no address He cannot be served the proper court papers.

An appeal might be in the works.

Is this a joke on the part of the senator...?

What's the point of this? To make the point that 'anyone can sue anyone else, even God' is a crap point. Talk about a pointless waste of a judge's time...

Wouldn't be the first time someone tried to sue God. I read about such instances in the papers from time to time - to my knowledge, each case has been dismissed.

The case is actually older than I first thought whereas I happened upon it in an archive.
The case went to the Court of Appeals and was thrown out due to its "hypothetical nature."
If someone were to actually use such a case as precedence, however, it could certainly put the word of god into a tight bind...
