Default Planned Parenthood Leader Resigns After Watching Abortion Ultrasound (Video)

Gateway Pundit

theblogprof: Planned Parenthood Leader Resigns After Watching Abortion Ultrasound; Now A Pro-Life Activist

Recently in North Dakota, an abortion business has recently sued to prevent women from seeing the ultrasound, which is now part of an informed consent law there, even though the abortion clinic does an ultrasound anyway as a standard procedure before the abortion. As I pointed out last week, there was this first-hand account via Pro-Life America:

Former abortionist, Joseph Randall, M.D., says, "The picture of the baby on the ultrasound bothered me more than anything else. The staff couldn't take it. Women who were having abortions were never allowed to see the ultrasound."

Statistically, 95% of women who see the ultrasound change their minds and choose life. There is no question as to what they are looking at. Not only do mothers reject abortion when they see what is going on themselves, but even rabid pro-aborts in Planned Parenthood do as well. From KBTX via Gateway Pundit:

Planned Parenthood has been a part of Abby Johnson’s life for the past eight years; that is until last month, when Abby resigned. Johnson said she realized she wanted to leave, after watching an ultrasound of an abortion procedure.

“I just thought I can’t do this anymore, and it was just like a flash that hit me and I thought that’s it,” said Jonhson.

She handed in her resignation October 6. Johnson worked as the Bryan Planned Parenthood Director for two years.

“...The money wasn’t in family planning, the money wasn’t in prevention, the money was in abortion and so I had a problem with that,” said Johnson.

This is old old old old old news. This happened 26 years ago. It was 1983 and coincidentally, was the same time frame when Dr. Randall converted to Christianity. I suspect his conversion had more to do with his change in practice than did the ultrasound.

Abby Johnson - not Dr. Randall

This sort of thing has happened before, seems it is happening yet again.

Dr. Joseph Randall works in Atlanta, Georgia. For ten years, he was in the abortion business. He operated from 1973 when abortion became legalised through the Supreme Court rulings, Roe v. Wade and Doe V. Bolton, until 1983 when he became a Christian and stopped doing abortions. But during that time he estimates that he was involved in 32,000 abortions. Thirty-two thousand human beings. Following is his testimony of his experience as an abortionist and as a Christian gentleman. Truthtv.org
And Abby Johnson began working with Planned Parenthood as a volunteer. She has no medical training. Do you really expect that any doctor who performs abortions today has never seen an ultrasound before. I'm sorry, but I don't see what the big deal is here.

What's more, one woman seeing an ultrasound and feeling a twinge of guilt does no more to prove that a fetus is a life than does throwing a coin off of the Golden Gate bridge. This article, while heartening to the pro-life movement, contributes nothing of value or substance to the debate.

I saw the bit about Ms. Johnson on Foxnews' website this morning, but figured MoE would tear it apart if I posted it here.

Ms. Johnson's testimony about the pressure to increase the number of abortions is troubling. It will be interesting to see if this bears out, since one of the pro-choice wing's constant refrains is "it isn't about the money".

(No, I didn't change my avatar just for this post.)

I completely agree...its a typical conservative ploy...they run out of intelligent and logical things to argue about and then try to create entire arguments based on an individual's emotional response....sigh.

Yes just as everything else this issue and law of abortion is abused by some and that is a complete shame; But having recognized that, we must also admit the absolutely needfull nessecity of access to legal abortion {and specialists} when required for circumstances not of mortal mans control.

She was a director for 2 years. not just some volunteer.

not one woman seeing an ultrasound.
"95% of women who see the ultrasound change their minds and choose life."

PP trying to keep people from seeing their ultrasounds. "Women who were having abortions were never allowed to see the ultrasound."

I'm sorry, my body, I get to see the picts you are taking of my body. Everyone needs to understand exactly what that doc will be doing. Hiding information from people in order to talk them into getting abortions is wrong.

abused not just by some, by 99.999% of the abortions out there.
So, do we kill the 99% to save the 1%? That is what we are currently doing.

It is sick. sick sick sick sick sick.

Do a google image search on "abortion" and see for youself what it really is.
