Default Listen to scientists

ARTICLE EXCERPT: Eighteen earth scientists at conservative Brigham Young University, owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, boldly did just that in a letter last week to Gov. Gary Herbert and members of the Legislature. They told the Republican leaders in polite terms that their acceptance of "fringe"-science global-warming skepticism is irresponsible.

Just because they are employed by the church does not make them any more right than if they were employed elsewhere.

I think he is referring to the scientists from BYU referenced in the article.

Then his comment doesn't make sense. Because, all that the BYU scientists stated is for Republicans not to do the opposite extreme of fudging scientific studies just so they can provide an opposing view.

I actually completely agree with them - either side of the Man-made Global Warming debate should use science as an unbiased tool to enlighten and not to manipulate! It has gotten to be that we cannot find reliable scientific study on the matter because whatever scientists come up with is tainted by political agendas coming from either side!

The BYU scientists refuted several of Spencer's claims and said that, as a group, they believe warming is a serious problem that should be addressed.
Maybe you didn't read that part.

Health is deteriorating but the spirit is moving forward. It is matter when and not how life will end.

Let me ask a simple question, if we remove man made global warming manufacturing, would the earth still heat up?

Before you answer this question, remember two items here, nature is controlled by eternal beings and the earth is soon to enter into a terrestrial state. Think about these two objects and then answer the question.

I'm a little confused here. What does the earth heating up have to do with nature being controlled by eternal beings and the earth entering a terrestial state.

Thanks
With luv,
