Minderwertigkeitskomplex?

The language is German, niet Hollands.
Lang leev Holland!

I love reading things in other languages. Even when I don't have a clue what they are saying.

Brüsseler Sprossen, Sprossenkohl. For PAM: A special and delicious meal of "Rosenkohl". Sorry, don't know the English expression at the moment.
@ Vort: You speak German? It`s not a "Kleine Nachtmusik", but simply "Kohl", as we call it in German. As we are "Krauts". But delicious. Did you learn your impressing German at High School?

I see. Oberst Klink und Feldwebel Schultz! It was also here on German TV. And Schultz was a "Trottel", but a good guy... but I've also seen here that you speak French (really good, did you learn it by watching movies about Napoleon...? -smile-) And about German: one should not waste his time to learn this rather complicated language, even if one has a talent in learning foreign languages. Once I heard an American say (I'm paraphrasing): Give one German a new word, and he immediately begins to decline it and changes a poor and innocent word into a real horror... (ok - the second part is from me...) minderwertigkeitskomplexbehaftet ... a simple adjective.
And the only reason why I speak German is that I could not chose when I was born, as anyone here speaks German in Hamburg (even if you might say we speak in a way that you can easily hear: He comes from Hamburg! ... ok... in the meantime I've become used on it... But now please tell me what "eine kleine Nachtmusik" has to do with "brussel sprouts" ... and how can it make sense...? It's driving me a bit mad not to get the point...
And why did he post "brussel sprouts"? To be honest: I had to search for it in the internet to find out what it was. I didn't know it before (and I don't really speak Dutch (Netherlands) but only a few words). I only know "Kieler Sprotten", which is small smoked fishes in a tin that comes from Kiel, Northern Germany on the Baltic. Please: what did he mean?

And who was Schwartz? I've checked all the characters there but could not find that name... Hogan's Heroes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It seems to me that I know nothing ... ...
Or do you mean "Schultz" (Feldwebel / Sergeant Schultz, the "gentle" guy ...who gives a prisoner his rifle to hold it for having his own hands free to write s.th. in his "Meldebuch" ...with Bavarian accent...) Any Bavarians here...?
