Bull Durham

Crash: I believe in the soul, . . . the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, long foreplay, show tunes, and that the novels of Thomas Pynchon are self-indulgent, overrated crap.
(beat)
I believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, I believe that there oughtta be a constitutional amendment outlawing astro-turf and the designated hitter, I believe in the "sweet spot", voting every election, . . . chocolate chip cookies, opening your presents on Christmas morning rather than Christmas eve, and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last for 7 days.

Annie: Oh, my.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Elphaba: Oh, my, sigh . . . . fade to black.
One of my favorite parts too.
This is where they fought the battle of Gettysburg. Fifty thousand men died right here on this field, fighting the same fight that we are still fighting among ourselves today. This green field right here, painted red, bubblin' with the blood of young boys. Smoke and hot lead pouring right through their bodies. Listen to their souls, men. I killed my brother with malice in my heart. Hatred destroyed my family. You listen, and you take a lesson from the dead. If we don't come together right now on this hallowed ground, we too will be destroyed, just like they were. I don't care if you like each other of not, but you will respect each other. And maybe... I don't know, maybe we'll learn to play this game like men.
Do you think this was written for a female audience by any chance?
Why Moksha? Were you saying "Oh, my" too?
I will never forget the first time I heard that one. Oh, my!
My memorable movie moments are not so much about the movie itself but about what happens in the theatre watching the movie.
While watching Lord of the Rings (Fellowship of the Ring), the evil bad guy gets decapitated and a fella in the audience cries out "It's only a flesh wound!"
While watching MIB II, half way through the movie it stops, the screen goes black, about 10 seconds later an audience member says "I liked the first one better!"
That reminds me of Strange Brew (the same guys who did the moose are the main characters in this). That movie they made cracks me up.
