Looking for Old Friends
I'm looking for a couple of old friends from my days with the Church.
Ryan Hatch. He lived in Michigan between 1991 - 1993. We belonged to the Farmington Hills Ward and were good friends until his dad took a job in Minnesota (?). He played soccer and I know that he served a mission after high school, but I completely lost track of him after he moved.
Dave Johnson. He was my branch president in Okinawa, Japan between 1996-1998. He was a Senior Master Sergeant in the Air Force and I've been unable to locate him since he PCS'd to Idaho. I think it was Idaho, I can't remember for sure. I know that he has to be out of the Air Force by now. Dave had three kids, and sadly I can't remember their names.
Steve Nelson (?). He was a youth leader, a member of the Farmington Hills Ward somewhere between 1991 - 2003?. I'm guessing because I know he moved after I went into the military. He went on our high adventures with us and was a great guy.
I know that some of this information is fairly general. But I would love to be able to touch base with these guys again. Any leads would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Are you still active? If you have a friend who's a med tec they should be able to look him up in CHCS? if he sees a provider on base.Maybe even off base, not sure. It would be bending the rules but If your a vet i'm sure you know this happens time to time.
Check myspace also. Its not just for teeny boppers.

I like to try to find people with Google.
Try it like this "Ryan Hatch" and use the quotes. Good Luck.

If you remember any other ward members from Okinawa, send their names in a private message and I might be able to help you find Dave Johnson. The ward members there were thicker than blood and most of them keep in touch with each other.

If they are LDS there is a small card that you can complete with the name, approx age and last know area they lived in. You put your contact information on the card and send it to SLC. There they forward it to the person, if they are on the church records, and the person can decided to contact you or not.
There is also a people contact service under Yahoo called Intellius. For a fee they can give you the Name, age, address, phone number of someone if you enter their name and a state or city and state. I have used it for years and been very successful at finding people from over 30 years ago.

Thank you for all of your help. I've already done many of these, but I'll give Ben's suggestions a go.
LOL at the google suggestion. Usually you can look up people that way, but there's a boat load of Ryan Hatchs, Dave Johnsons, and Steve Nelsons. I'd be here for months vetting everyone.
Thank you.
