Where Has the Cheer Gone?
I love Cheer laundry detergent. I grew up on it. But for some reason, I can't find large boxes of it anymore. What's up? I keep buying these silly little puny boxes and finally switched to some Costco brand, but the detergent doesn't dissolve well. I bought a small box of Cheer the other day and forgot how heavenly it smells. Ahhhhhhhh .....
I've tried Gain. I read that it works really well and is inexpensive, but it smelled like bug repellant to me and I ended up rewashing everything to get rid of the smell.
I hate Tide. It smells like my ex-boyfriend.
Someone told me Sun detergent or whatever it's called gives them a rash.
What's your favorite? I see some new brands out there with lavender scents and stuff, but I don't want to waste money on something I can't stand the smell of. I just want a ginormous box of Cheer! Is that too much to ask?

I would use liquid cheer, but it reminds me of my ex. We use liquid Gain, or whatever my wife decides to pick up.

I just wrote to Proctor and Gamble about the lack of Cheer. I hope they start selling it at Costco.

We use All. It smells good and seems to work well and is relatively inexpensive.

I learned that if you use the liquid kind and let it soak in the wash, it starts to get this nasty sulfur smell. I don't recommend it.
I'm glad you guys can tolerate Gain. I bought two bottles for a great deal and ended up giving both of them away (the unused portion in the first one).

What about dryer sheets? I like Bounce's spring breeze (I think it's spring breeze).

I insist on my wife beating our clothes on rocks and washing them in the river. She uses bar lye soap.
We smell like like fish with rashes. (tongue in cheek).

We used to use All, but since they switched to the concentrate it just hasn't seemed to get our clothes as clean. The dirt still comes out, but they don't come out smelling as fresh, and because we use cloth diapers we can't use dryer sheets (leaves a film on the inside of the dryer that can get onto the diapers and damage them).
