Default Mormon Tabernacle Choir Singing Bohemian Rhapsody

I was recently talking to an elder serving a mission. He claimed to have heard the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing the Bohemian Rhapsody. Anybody heard the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing some rockin songs?

I've never heard that. HiJolly is a member of the choir, maybe he can chime in when he gets a minute.

It does make you wonder what that would sound like. Would it sound bad or good?

I doubt that the Mormon Tabernacle Choir would sing anything about "killing a man".

I think all their performances are to build up the spirit of man and not anything derogative (even though I LOVE that song!).

I apologize if I am spreading false information.

This is information the elder stated. Perhaps the choir sang an edited version of the song (they have sang edited songs before). Or perhaps another choir was singing that he mistook for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. If this information is wrong I again apologize.

The Choir is so inspiring to listen to. HiJolley deserves kudos for his being part of it. I was just thinking another song I would like to hear them sing is The House of the Rising Sun. That song is all about repentance, which is a good theme.

I'd rather hear them sing Stairway to Heaven myself.
