Default Trying to find an article. . . maybe you can help me?

Hey all,

I am looking for the story about a boy who was sodomized and I believe killed by a gay couple. He used to go their house all the time to hang out and the parents had no issue with it. I believe he was oh, fourteen years old?

I recall this story not being widely distributed and it was at some point after the whole Mathew Sheppard thing, I think.

If only I could remember the boy's name!

If anyone can help me find this news story I would appreciate it.

There are many more instances of children who are sodomized and/or murdered by heterosexual men, sometimes their own fathers or uncles.

Would you like links to those articles?

I was able to find 2 boys who suffered the same fate. Perhaps one of them is who you are looking for. Jeffrey Curley and Jesse Dirkhising. (It made me sick just reading the headlines about these and others) How can a family heal after something like this happens?

Stories like that make me sick. I believe there is a place in hell reserved for such people. (Of course this is just my opinion and I still need to work on the whole forgiving others thing as that is not one of my strong points so that my jade my above opinion as well)

Thank you Sundae Sarah! Jesse was the one I was thinking of, and I will be looking into Jeffrey now too.

No, thank you.
I am aware of such cases.

Just an FYI, I was NOT looking for this particular information as a way to vilify homosexuals.

Not all that common for a BIOLOGICAL father to have incest with his own pre-pubescent child. Usually it's step fathers who do such things. Often child molesters will develop a relationship with a divorced woman just to get at her kids.

I beg to differ with you.

First, you can tell that to MY biological father. I have met many girls who have been molested by their biological father or biological grandfather.

Next, you can do a simple Google search on the words "Father molested daughter" and you will find MANY, many instances.

It is a very COMMON occurrence, unlike the occurrence of a homosexual couple molesting and murdering a child.

Do the research.

You are right, by the way, that molesters marry women with children to get at the children.... and these are HETEROSEXUALS, most often.

I have done the research -- often if a biological father has relations with his own daughter it is when she hits puberty and is, or has developed sexually. Doesn't make it right, just clarifying the issue.

Now as for raping and murdering a child, that is rare -- much higher for step parents though. Blood is, after all, thicker than water.

As for molestation, I have always wondered why we just assume a "heterosexual" (that is, a guy who sleeps with adult women) who rapes a little boy is still a heterosexual. Would this not make him at least bisexual with a same-gender attraction to young boys? True, more females of young age are raped by older males who are otherwise heterosexual but a significant number of molestations are same-gender (also, just to be fair women molest girls too),

And just what is the statistical occurance of homosexual males (those who otherwise sleep with adult males) molesting children? About 2-3 percent of the adult male population is homosexual so if it is proportional then one would expect 2-3 % of molestations being performed by homosexuals. Anyone have the stats?

Incest has been cited as the most common form of child abuse. Studies conclude that 43 percent (43%) of the children who are abused are abused by family members, 33 percent (33%) are abused by someone they know, and the remaining 24 percent (24%) are sexually abused by strangers (Hayes, 1990). Other research indicates that over 10 million Americans have been victims of incest.

You can read the entire article here at the National Center for Victims of Crime:
The National Center for Victims of Crime - Library/Document Viewer

And I'm not sure where you live, but in my state, Oregon, a pubescent person is a "CHILD."

The references and bibliograpy at the end of the article will give you hours of reading on the topic, if you're serious about actually researching the issue.
