It is laughable that this is even written and some folks take it as good... the re-writing is so very poor and carnal

The phrase never changes that I am not aware of...going by his own accord in changing the way the Godhead speaks, perhaps a change in the first vision: "Hey Joe [Joseph Smith], this is Jess, so pay attention Joe."

I didn't read the link, sorry.

I have this to say though...

I have these children's books - Stories from the Bible - and - Stories from the Book of Mormon. It is excerpts from the BOM and the Bible written in kids' language. So, I don't have a problem with excerpts from the BOM and Bible written in some other user-friendly language as long as it does not portray itself as a "replacement" to the correctly translated works.
