1 - Knowing that GOD can talk to you and make personal visits. You will not find this in any other religions.

2 - Moroni Chapter 7 and 10.

3 - Jesus the Christ followed by Joseph Smith

1.) What I like most about the Church is the spiffy Tabernacle Choir, the long trek with the handcarts, and its antigov early history.

2.) Among the Scriptures, my favorite are the Proverbs and the Book of Enos.

3.) So far as people are concerned, LeGrand Richards recently came to my attention. Here is one of his talks at BYU, (1971):

The LDS church taught me how to connect with the Holy Spirit. Feeling the Spirit is my fave part.

CHAPTER 35

In the day of restoration the desert shall blossom, the Lord will come, Israel shall be gathered, and Zion shall be built up.

1 THE wilderness and the asolitary place shall be bglad for cthem; and the ddesert shall rejoice, and eblossom as the rose.
2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of aLebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the bglory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
3 Strengthen ye the aweak hands, and confirm the bfeeble knees.
4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with avengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
5 Then the aeyes of the bblind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6 Then shall the lame man leap as an ahart, and the tongue of the dumb bsing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
7 And the aparched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the bhabitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
8 And an ahighway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of bholiness; the cunclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the aredeemed shall walk there:
10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall areturn, and come to bZion with csongs and everlasting djoy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and esorrow and sighing shall flee away.

(Old Testament | Isaiah 35:Heading - 10)

1}What do you like most about the LDS church ?
That it's true and that its truth is revealed to me continuously through the Holy Ghost. It doesn't just dim away and become stale, that particular revelation of its authenticity comes afresh over and over. That's HUGE!

2}What is your favorite book, passage, part of Mormon scripture [the old, the new testaments and beyond]
Since I bought an used quad version in English--our scriptures are in Danish here--the massively huge Topical Guide has been of particular interest because it's completely new for me. Through that I can learn from the Word of God in entirely new ways. Hehe.

My favorite book of the standard works is the Book of Mormon.

3} Who is your favorite peron of the church, [past, present or future]
Jesus Christ, the everlasting head of this Church!

I'm going to keep this one open as people can still respond to it. However, keep in mind that the OP has since been banned so won't see or respond if you respond to him specifically.

1) The church? Well, I tend to separate the church from the gospel, but I LOVE the gospel and the teachings that have come thru this church. I feel a particular and singular reverence for the BofM.

2) Favorite passage? That would take too long. I have too many. My favorites are the ones that the Spirit has used to teach me something that has meant a great deal to my life and the desires of my heart.

3) Favorite person past or present? Neal A. Maxwell.

The responses are great. They can still be answered and be helpful. Just wanted people to be aware about responding directly to the person who started it.
