Default Gift suggestions for a future missionary (female)?

Hey hey !!

A friend who's going to the MTC in a week will have a surprise party tomorrow.
I didn't plan to go, kinda last minute !!

Anyone has a funny gift idea pleeeease ?

I'm thinking practical (that's me). If you know where she's going, you might consider a gift card for a store chain in that area (if doable), so she can buy stuff she needs while she's in the field (pantyhose, feminine needs, etc.). Missionaries have limited baggage allowance and budgets.

I don't know about funny, but I would get her a miniature hymnal. If she's going foreign-speaking, try to get one in her new language.

but she's going to Estonia (spelling ?) so not possible . . .
good pick though, will keep this one for someone else :P
