A Capitalist Manifesto
So I'm considering buying this book tonight and reading it. I've realized that I can't effectively discuss economics without a bridge of some understanding the opposing viewpoint. Is this a good book?
It's rather silly of me to be arguing against a radical free market if I don't understand what that entails beyond a shallow internet search. Specifically, Bytor and a few others have gotten me to realize that my vague concerns over the ethics of a pure free market aren't really an effective tool in understanding why some love this idea and some hate it.
Basically, I'm just looking to find a better understanding of what a very vocal percentage of this board seemingly take for granted and I'm hoping this book might give me a deeper understanding.
