Default Best Stake Priesthood Meeting

Just had a stake priesthood meeting two weeks ago. It was the most powerful such meeting I've ever been to.

The stake president got up, stated his name, where he served his mission and when. He instructed all other RMs to approach the podium and do the same. Over the next 45 minutes, one by one, a couple hundred men in white shirts got up, waited in line and then spoke their name, mission and date into the microphone. Then the president had 4 people bear their testimonies in their mission language.

That was it - very powerful.

Today my son son turned in his papers.

That sounds like an awesome meeting Snow. Please keep us updated on son's mission prep progress. Is this your first missionary you are sending out? Our son went and one of our daughters. I felt so blessed while they served and it gave me great opportunities to discuss the church and missionary work as I told people what our children were doing.

First one. The older daughter will be a senior at BYU this fall and there are two younger girls still at home.

It's a blessing to have good kids who want do the right thing.
