Default whats you summer been like?

I dont know what its like in other parts of the world but we have yet to hit summer like temperatures. Today it is 8' Celsius witch is 46 F.
It is August! It should be in the 30's in the 80s if not hoter
We have had rain so much that the wheat is failing and the farmers have no idia what to do but turn the cattle out in to the fields.
I live in Southern Alberta and I should be running the AC day and night but we have the furnace on at night.
The local lake used for swimming has seen little to no use.
It makes me wonder what the winter will be like?

It's global cooling, I tell ya! I wish there were some way we could make people buy gas-guzzling cars and force them to run them all day long to get the weather back to where it needs to be.

I closed my west-facing windows last night because it was raining.

About a month ago or so, we had a heatwave which lasted about a week, temperatures were around about 95F (35C). According to my phone the current temperature is 18C.

I would love for the temp here to drop down to 18C. Right now here in Houston it is 89F (31.5C) and I am tired of this heat. Especially when I have to be out in it in the middle of the day.

We had the coldest month of June on record, I think it rained almost everyday. We've had a ton of rain this summer, we'll get a few warm days and then cool days. Most disappointing though was the fruit. My raspberries came in late and were really small and sour and nobody around here is selling seeded watermelon it's all seedless. I don't care what happens with the weather but I want whoever is in charge of the fruit department to stop messing with my raspberries and watermelons. *stamps feet and goes off to sulk**

If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it.

If your area is unseasonably cold I can tell you that Texas is picking up your slack. It's been so hot and dry here this summer that I have had to get out the leaf blower nearly every day to clear off my patio. The trees can't handle it.

This time last year we were adding Blocks of ICE to our pool (which didn't help much) to cool it down. This weekend I turned on the heater to get it to 90 degrees.

I agree with Texas having way more than it's share of summer heat - too much heat. My mom was growing grapes - watering them every day but they still died due to this heat.
