In August, I went to see Paul McCartney at FedEx Stadium in Washington, D.C. Best concert I ever saw in my entire life!!! Period, bar none! Would gladly pay the $240 to see him again. Now, if Led Zeppelin ever gets back together (doubtful though, since Robert Plant has officially announced that he is done), that would be my next favorite band I would want to see.

If Jesus Christ sang, him. Otherwise, I suppose Mozart, as long as it were really Mozart and not someone else playing his music. Or maybe my dad.

No one springs to mind. Possibly Weird Al. yes, I'd probably pay to see him. Possibly Linkin Park. Possibly Metallica...maybe not. Possibly Boston. Possibly the Beach Boys. Okay, and as Carl reminds me, possibly Led Zeppelin.

If I'm older than you by ten years, then you are not old.

I think age is a lot like size. I've had people tell me "I can't believe you were in the Marine Corps. All the Marines I've known have been big guys". to which I reply "It's not how big you are on ther outside. It's how big you are on the inside that's important".
So, I think it's not how old you ARE. I think it's how old you ACT. I kid alot about being old, but until I injured my arm recently, I did 50 pushups everyday. I wonder how many younger guys here can do that.

Glad to hear that desertrose. I was beginning to think Hordak and I were the only ones that ever of Frankie Valli or "The Four Seasons"

Frankie Valli totally rocks. Of course his songs come over the Muzak at work for eight hours, so I've adjusted out of necessity I guess...but I think his stuff is still cool. Even though that kind of falsetto singing is not popular today, he had a set of lungs, no question.

The current Broadway play The Jersey Boys is the story of the Four Seasons. I wonder if the person playing Valli can hit those notes? I'll never know. Not many of those shows make it to our hills. We still think the Radio City "Rocketts" has something to do with the space program.
