I would really doubt he can answer emails; if he tryed he would be doing it 45 hours a day; And of course because of the way some people are in this world today; i doubt he is allowed to open his mail because of weird things evil people do and say. I,m sure if yer persistent and contact church headquarters in s.l.c. yu will be able to get in touch somehow, maybe start with asking your bishop or stake president; or if it were me i think i would go to s.l.c and set up an appointement.

You can write to him at church headquarters, but with any question it should first go to your bishop. I needed something that cold only be approved through the 1st presidency, was interviewed by the bishop and stak president, we all wrote to President Hinkley with the request and he wrote back about a week and a half later.
So, if it something that needs the attention of President Monson, use the proper steps. if you simply want to write a thank you ro something, go right ahead. he may get it.
