Chill-out thread :)

just a happy-go-lucky light chat thread for those who might need it

So, what are you all up to tonight? Tomorrow is our RS enrichment. I have to bake 100 dinner rolls for it. (It was requested that I not just use the tubes from the store

but my award winning bread - which is a pain to make, o well.) The house smells really really yummy. 20 min until the next batch goes in.

I would have made them tomorrow so they were really really fresh, but tomorrow is a pre-school field trip, followed by pic-nic lunch at the park, followed by piano students coming over, and somehow I have to bake a bunch of cup-cakes for Fridays school carnival... What is it with everyone making me bake a bunch of stuff lately? Tis the season I guess... grocery bills in Nov/Dec - Sheesh!

The RS board thought it would be nice to have a dinner that wasn't pot luck... I hope they never do that again!

I mean who is even going to come to this thing? Don't they know you get people to come by assigning them to bring food????

Well maybe it was sugested to make yer own, but sometimes it just cant be done that way; dont feel by buying rolls it is wrong cause its not; we have had to do this sevearl times because of stress,and lack of time; dont worry nobody will say anything they also understand..

Watched game 6 of the world series. As a Red Sox fan, I wasn't exactly please that the Yankees won it, but having watched all six games of this series, I definitely think they earned it.

Oh, and I was reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, too.

I have not yet read the Potter series, love the movies. Someday I am going to have to sit down and read through em, everyone keeps saying how good they are. Just finished "Three Cups of Tea" - Greg Mortenson, and "I am a Mother" - Jane Clayson Johnson. Starting to read "A New Earth - Awakening to Your Life's Purpose" - Eckhart Tolle

I need to do laundry - it's clean, but it's piled up on the bed

. It's seems to stay piled up on the bed for quite some time... someday I'll get a better system (like the kids getting older and doing their own laundry!)

LOL - do you ever take the store bought stuff, and then put it in your own dishes before you bring it in? Then people say how good it is, want to know how to make it, and you have to fess up

If you want to just chill out and talk, we DO have a chat room here. Unfortunatly, you'd be lucky to find anyone in there. Except me of course....Alone...Talking to myself...

Anyway, all I'm doing tonight is reading the forums, and eating Wonka Shockers.
