Default Farewell Gifts for mission

G'day all,

I've received my mission call to melbourne west, Australia (leave in 3 weeks). I want to do something special for my friends (female) one of whom i intending on marrying :P. Any ideas or things you may have done or heard of for gifts/presents? Im pretty hand with wood and metal works.

A nice stationery set with all the envelopes pre-addressed to you care of the mission home. Not much helps a missionary through a rough time than an encouraging letter from someone who cares about them. Make a ground rule of no mushy letters though.
