I don't know why they used my middle name  It did not give me a choice on what name I wanted to use Other than that, I am happy.
did any of you create a profile?

I actually spent a lot of time on this section of Mormon.org last night! I didn't read your profile then, but I did just now. It is good to hear from another PhD. If you see my other posts, you will see that I struggle with the intellectual issues taht kinda go with the territory of this kind of background.
I think the profiles are a great thing! I got to see a lot of black Mormons and learn why they converted, what they had to deal with with family and friends, etc. (this is one of my issues). It was also good to read about people who had converted later in life.
I have to give it to the Mormons for their online presence! Everything is very well-made, the videos and articles hit a lot of different audiences, and are a great introduction to the faith.

That's probably to protect privacy! I'm not able to get my profile page up. Don't know what the deal is.

I think it takes the display name from you LDS Account profile. Go to ldsaccount.lds.org, sign in, and edit your profile and that should take care of it.

They have to read through your stuff and approve it before they post it - usually takes a few days. Be patient!

There's nothing to read, I can't get that far. I think we're going to end up deleting my account and starting over.
