Well, last year Carmen didn't make it all the way.

This year they have already voted off the Provo Mormon. Still in the running is Rexburb Mormon John Peter Lewis who wore a short-sleeve white shirt and tie, ala missionary stlye.

My personal favorite is the red-headed, magic suit man, John Stevens who sings the standards (Sinatra, Dean Martin)

I really thought Rexburg was gonna get slaughtered last night by the judges, my hubby and I were amazed that he got such positive reviews!!! It was funny, I haven't been watching AI at all, so when that kid came on and they were describing him and his family I turned to DH and said "betcha he's a mormon" and he laughed and said "just because he has a big cheesy family doesn't mean he's LDS" and then rexburg said he went to BYU-I and I jumped up and said "BBOOO YEAH TOLD YA SO"...

ok so we need a life..but it's fun spotting the mo's!!

I spotted the mo when he first auditioned in Hawaii

wondering how long someone would comment on this subject...

I think that he will do well... at least as far as carmen got last year... and he is waaaay better than she was( not saying she was bad, just jpl is much better) LOL ...

I hope that John Steven does well too. He has alot of potential....

Like it or not, Mormons are treated or thought of differently, not badly necessarily, but there are distinct.
