Default A Conversation With A Seven Year Old

A conversation I had with the 7 year old daughter of my son's soccer coach at today's game:

McKinley: "Hi."
Me: "Hi."
McKinley: "You are a policeman."
Me: "Yes I am."
McKinley: "You always carry a gun."
Me: "Yes I do."
McKinley: "You always carry a gun in case there is a problem."
Me: *chuckling*
McKinley: "It is good to marry a policeman, cause if there is a problem you can go get him to take care of it."

lol...out of the mouths of babes!

Default kids are cute for what they say

I was at my sister-inlaws house for Easter and mentioned that along with other game my brother hunts, he also shot and served bear meet. My little niece, who is mabey seven, says "thaaaats awwwwfulll" "why did he doo that!" It was the way she said it was so funny

She is the sweet, artistic kid of the family so that is probably why she responded that way

BTW, I encourage everyone to at least video-tape family events at least once. That way, you can show grand kids what your distance relatives were like in real life rather then a photo.
