Not sure if this is the right section...

So my son has the CUTEST belly!! It gets all poochy when he's finished eatting. Well we sometimes refer to it as his Buddha Belly. But I got to thinking the other day and wondered if that was wrong. I don't worship Buddha, so it's not offensive to me, hence why I didn't think about it prior to.

Curious what your opinions are.

Well, just keep this in mind, Buddha doesn't have a fat belly. That fat guy that you see smiling that everyone referes to as Buddha isn't Buddha at all. I can't recall right off what he is really called but "the true" Buddha is thin and usually wears a hat.

I think Buddha would be flattered to be compared to cute, chubby little cherub! (I also think Buddhists aren't as easily offended about stuff like that as Christians.)

I also understand that he has a body of flesh and bones.
