That's awesome! You have to be at the door 1/2 hour prior to your scheduled time or they could give your seating to stand by people. We go in about an hour prior because the choir is practicing and you get to see and hear them. It's pretty amazing.
Each time we have gone our tickets were for really close to the front seating...but, this time our tickets are for the balcony. But, it doesn't matter because all seating is good and they have the big monitors so no matter where you sit you can see.
Also, the First Presidency, Apostles, etc enter from the right side as you look down to the front. The Spirit that enters with them is overwhelmingly wonderful.
There isn't anything open around Temple Square on Sunday. I am not sure what is open on Saturday... but just sitting around people watching is fun. LOL
