That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It's a skin condition, not caused because God has forgiven them.

I believe that a sure sign that God has forgiven us is that he tells us, "i have forgiven you".

He might do this audibly, through a leader,or through an outward sign. It will be significant for the recipient, and may not to others.

Whether something is an answer to prayers or not is not our place to judge, it is up to you to decide.

I though LDS people believed that black skin was a curse from God, because of what Cain did to Abel

Nope, read the OT again. Exactly what it says, we believe.

I thought your question was sincere. I didn't know you were mocking us. That'll teach me.

Hmmm. Prolonged ingestion of fluoridated water may cause spots of skin to lose their pigmentation, producing lighter skin color than the surrounding areas. Therefore, LDS scientists must have been inspired to convince a lot of communities to introduce fluoride into our drinking water under the guise of protecting our teeth from cavities, so that over the years we would lighten up.

Get real.

edited: to correct the spelling of "floridated" --except in the case of Miami's and Orlando's water systems.

If you read the link, it states quotes from Warren Jeffs, who is in NO WAY affiliated with the LDS Church. He is a criminal who rapes young girls and detroys lives. Again, He is in NO WAY affiliated with the LDS Church.

If you have a sincere question, then ask it. If you want to know abou tthe church, might I suggest lds.org or mormon.org.
