The World Will End In 2012

I recently read that the world is to end on December 23rd 2012. If that is the case I'm okay with it. Since December 23rd is my birthday..just means I don't have to celebrate another year getting older.

This end of the world predicted by the Mayan calendar is put forth by the same type of people that buy into bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, chupacabra, the Bermuda Triangle, Angels in the Outfield and Ouija Board.

Whoa. You don't buy the whole Angels in the Outfield story? It was in the movies, how could it have been faked? In fact, it almost brought a tear to my eye, but then I realized I had missed with the straw from my drink. Ow.

The only thing I know is that the Mayan calendar will end in that year, but we won't know when the actual end of the world will happen. People have always thought that Christ would return in their lifetime, so the "last days" thing is nothing new.
