That's awesome. Another addition to the family. They will love the dog.

I have a chocolate lab, Dr. T! He's the cutest puppy in the whole wide world and I love him best of any dog I've ever had...even if Katie is his favorite

Actually I'm kind of curious as to why you are asking US if you are going crazy. You ARE the psychologist.

Dogs are like babies, they're better when they belong to someone else. You can go play with with them, spoil them, but then after you get tired you can leave them and let someone else feed and clean up after them.

You're right John Dogs are a lot like kids (I'm tired by the way)
===

Pammy,

You are funny (and right)
===

Sioux,
That's great to hear. We used to have a Golden Retriever, which we loved, and I was going to get another one but I just couldn't pass us this cute little face and amazing color. We'll see how it goes...

Dr. T, how does it feel to YOU about you bringing home cats and dogs that you claim are for your kids?

Hahahaha. First of all, I didn't bring home the cat. I will admit to the (darn) dog however. Although she is super cute, she is keeping me up all night, and that is driving me crazy(er). We'll see how long I last.
